  7.     LOWERING HIS HANDICAP, NUNN TOO SOON. Suburban Washington's
  8. Burning Tree Golf Club is not considered a politically expedient
  9. course because of its policy of excluding women. But Senator Sam
  10. Nunn has until now preferred working on his golf handicap rather
  11. than his electoral one. By resigning last week the Georgia
  12. Democrat appeared to be teeing up for a presidential race in
  13. 1992. Of course, he can always follow in Lloyd Bentsen's cleats
  14. and rejoin his old club if he loses.
